Cor exists to strengthen and form Catholic men in faith and virtue as missionary disciples. The name comes from the motto of St. John Henry Newman, Cor ad cor loquitur — “Heart speaks to heart.”
Distinct from the Knights of Columbus monthly council business meeting, Cor gives men an opportunity to intentionally grow in their relationship with Christ and one another through prayer, formation, and fraternity.
What happens at Cor at St. Wenceslaus?
Brian Lehmann started Cor at St. Wenceslaus because he wanted a place where men could come together, grow in their faith, and spend time focused on formation.
Cor gives men a regular opportunity to step away from everyday life and spend time with other men who are also trying to grow closer to Christ.
All men are welcome.
Each gathering is centered around three essential elements:
- Prayer: Developing a living relationship with God
- Formation: Continuing to grow in Catholic faith and virtue
- Fraternity: Building authentic brotherhood that strengthens and sharpens men
Jesus did not call his disciples to follow him alone. He formed them in community, taught them the Truth, and sent them out together. Cor follows that same model by giving men a place to pray together, grow in faith, support one another, and encourage one another to live as faithful disciples of Christ.
Through Christ-centered brotherhood, men are strengthened in their vocations as husbands, fathers, friends, parishioners, and community members.

Cor meets on select Mondays.
6:45 p.m. — Rosary in the Sanctuary
7:00–8:15 p.m. — Cor Meeting

Cor is organized by the Knights of Columbus but is open to all men who desire to grow closer to Christ through prayer, formation, and authentic brotherhood. You don't need to be a Knight to attend.
