Who was St. Monica?

St. Monica is remembered for her steadfast faith and perseverance in prayer. She cared deeply for the people she loved and remained faithful through years of uncertainty, disappointment, and sorrow.

She is best known for praying for her son Augustine's conversion, who eventually became one of the Church’s great saints and teachers. Monica’s witness shows us what it means to entrust the people we love to God and remain hopeful even when we cannot see what God is doing.

How our group began at St. Wenceslaus

Deacon Chris and Julie Kabat were instrumental in the early days, reading Scripture and offering spiritual guidance. Today, Robynn and Jerry Anderson continue to lead the group, creating a welcoming place for prayer, support, and fellowship.

What we Do

Together, we pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and other prayers of intercession, and we pray for one another’s intentions. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you wish. The group is a place to pray, to be supported, and to bring before God whatever is on your heart.

Join Us

Our group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 PM in the parish hall.

All are welcome.
