American Heritage Girls is a Christian girls' organization dedicated to building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.  By participating in this multi-level badge program, girls learn important life skills (from cooking to photography to paddling a canoe), have service and leadership opportunities, socialize with girls of all ages, and take time for spiritual development.

The troop at St. Wenceslaus, Troop IA0928, was chartered in 2017 and is uniquely Catholic!  We have troop-wide meetings twice a month and girls ages 5-18 are welcome to join.  Some fun and service-oriented projects our troop has completed include:

  • Making a rosary hike at Kent Park
  • Giving away plastic army men after Masses to remind people to pray for our troops
  • Sending Christmas cards to soldiers overseas
  • Organizing and hosting a parish-wide mother & daughter tea
