St. Wenceslaus offers youth activities for three age groups: K-4th grade, 5th-8th grade, and high school. No registration is necessary--you're welcome to join us at any time!
Youth Meetings Schedule
K-4th grade activities are held in the conference room on Sundays after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Masses. We learn about Sunday's Gospel as well as have activities related to an exciting aspect of our Catholic Faith. Some past topics include the catacombs, Divine Mercy, St. John Bosco, transubstantiation, and the Shroud of Turin!
Middle School (5th-8th grade)
During this school year, we will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. After a holy hour at 6:30 p.m., we meet downstairs in the conference room from 7:30-8:30 p.m. We meet in the spirit of Blessed Pier Giorgio's Tipi Loschi Society, which means we earnestly learn about various topics related to our Catholic Faith (such as discussing how to be a missionary, learning about the most recently canonized saints/more obscure saints, or even just discovering the meaning of symbols found in our church), but also have fun together along the way!
Meetings take place on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. After the holy hour for vocations at 6:30 p.m., we meet downstairs in the conference room from 7:30-9:00 p.m. We are currently reading Humility Rules, by J. Augustine Wetta, one night per month. This book is a great read and encourages you to be holy in a light-hearted but earnest way! We will also have fun activities such as sending out care packages, service projects, game nights, etc.
If you are in 8th grade and are interested in attending high school meetings, you're welcome to do so!
