Youth Collecting Food to Donate to Catholic Worker House

Looking for a great way to give alms this Lent?  Consider donating to our youth food drive!

Throughout Lent, yuth will bring a donation to youth group each week, and we invite you to help us by donating some nonperishable food items whenever you visit the church!  Here are some recommended items:

Canned meat (pop-top lids, please)
Canned ravioli (pop-top lids please)
Chicken soup
Peanut butter
Fruit cups
Granola bars
Bottled drinks (water, juice, etc.)
Boxes of cereal
Instant oatmeal packets
Macaroni & cheese (boxes or microwaveable cups)
...or other nonperishable food!

There will be a donations bin located in the West Entrance through Easter.

All donations will be given to the Catholic Worker House to stock their Free Little Food Pantry.  They typically go through about 100 pounds of groceries per week by stocking the pantry!  Anyone is welcome to take food from it, and it is often used by neighborhood children, the needy, and Kirkwood students.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
