The St. Wenceslaus Knights Of Columbus, along with Stephen Pallone, MD, and his wife Melinda are proud to offer two grants of up to $2500 for training in the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System.
The Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System is a highly effective family planning method that enables couples to chart signs and symptoms of fertility. This gives the couple the ability to select or avoid days of fertility to achieve or postpone a pregnancy as determined by the couple's needs. The Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System eliminates the potential harmful side effects of chemicals and devices by avoiding artificial means of contraception. Additionally this method may help facilitate deeper communication and intimacy of the couple.
The significant advantage of this method among other natural methods of fertility monitoring is the Creighton Model's standardized language and instruction that allows focused medical interventions to diagnose and treat a range of gynecologic disorders and infertility issues.
Training programs in the delivery of the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System, accredited by the American Academy of FertilityCare Professionals, are available in several locations throughout the world. The sponsored grants are for individuals wishing to receive the training to provide services for residents of Iowa as well as any individual wishing to become a program educator.
